For many people, including myself, just hearing the word “fitness” or the phrase “workout” leaves me short of breath and dehydrated. For one, getting and staying in shape can be summed up in one universal word…”HARD”. Mike Bradshaw Sr., the CEO of Team Train Hard, is on a mission to show that any difficult workout can be accomplished with the right mindset.
“I started personal training and that became a passion… I saw how it was a good pain to give to people because it was helping them grow.”
A big part of Mike’s execution is definitely attributed to his mental strength. He applies phrases like “If you think you can’t do it, try it” and “don’t let them beat your mind.” It’s no wonder, as Mike is an active US Army Soldier. His desire to help has transitioned into his company, Team Train Hard. Team Train Hard is a team of dedicated personal trainers that provides and promotes a series of hardcore workouts developed to strengthen the body and mind. Initially, the idea derived from Mike’s Warrior Training, which was based on the type of training he received in the military. He desired to bring the two together, intent on creating one fluid program that would yield desired results. Thus, his full body assault program was born. “Assault Series” is a uniquely developed program that blends his military and fitness training all into tough workouts. As a trainer, Mike is all about motivating his clients, and hosts a series of Training Boot Camps where he applies his unique and tailored program.

Mike has also adopted a solid marketing campaign for his business. It took some trial and error when finding techniques that worked for his business and engaged his followers. Mike has found that by posting fitness challenges for his followers, they actively participate and respond with their own posts, showcasing their results. In order to provide more inspiration, Mike rewards them with fitness products, which helps immensely. After all, who wouldn’t mind getting free fitness equipment for accepting Mike’s workout challenges? He does not hesitate to interact with his followers, sending words of encouragement on a daily basis and responding to questions or testimonials. This is a great step in the right direction, especially as he is growing his brand and setting himself apart from other Personal Trainers. Mike is set on bringing his program to any and everyone, including some well-known faces. Actor @dshippjr was introduced to Mike’s workout, and has adopted his program without hesitation.
“I trained him for 3 days and he said he felt like he was going to go home and move furniture and refrigerators around the house for fun because he felt stronger.”

As an entrepreneur, Mike has recognized one of the most important elements of promoting his brand. He operates under the motto “Quality over Quantity”, and has grown from posting fitness pictures on his profile, to featuring professionally developed videos on his social media page. Mike has learned that when his content is good, followers will flock, and he has seen the fruits of that labor with the amount of traffic and new followers he is continually reaching.
Mike is on a mission to encourage and motivate individuals to reach their health and fitness goals. He even branded his own phrase #ClockedIn, referring to a person getting started and going hard on their workout. The phrase has caught on so much that it is being used around the country and abroad, which is a huge milestone for his brand. It was exciting news when someone in Australia reached out to him stating that he was #ClockedIn. Because of this catch phrase, Mike has found a way to influence other people’s lives, showing the power of trending hashtags. The feedback he receives from his many followers about how he inspires them, is something that gives Mike the drive to continue to push his program and help others in the process.
While Mike is passionate about his company and his brand, he also makes sure that his main priorities are being a great father, husband, and leader. Mike is someone who is always looking to guide and improve, so it’s natural that he intends to become a Military Drill Sergeant. His reason is pretty simple and actually very inspiring: he wants to help develop and lead our future soldiers on a lifelong journey of success. He also has goals of opening his own fitness center, keeping his military background as the root and base of the facility. Like most people, Mike has probably been called a lot of things, but he cannot be called a quitter. He still has goals of pursuing a Film Degree, which was his initial focus when attending Clark Atlanta University.
“I went to school for film, but that slowed down a little bit… But I am still going to attack it though, I am not going to stop finishing. I GOT TO FINISH IT.”
So, while his immediate sights focus on military and fitness, he has not forgotten about his other life aspirations. With all of his current success in the military and with his fitness company, we are excited to follow Mike’s journey to witness what he accomplishes in the future. The sky’s the limit…
